It extends shelf life, preserves freshness, and enhances the overall quality of packaged food by lowering pH and inhibiting mold and bacterial growth, thus preventing oxidation.
  • Carbon Dioxide also serves as a refrigeration gas in chilling and freezing systems as it maintains product quality by preventing spoilage and aging.
